"The toughest race isn’t always the one on the track—it’s the one happening in your mind." When I began the #100EasyRunChallenge, I knew it wasn’t just about the physical act of running. It was about conquering the mental battles that have stopped me for years. You see, I’ve always been active, always into sports. But there’s a difference between running for fun and running with purpose. That purpose isn’t just about fitness—it’s about growth, discipline, and learning to silence that voice inside your head that tells you to stop. Some days, my legs feel fine, but my mind starts to bargain. You know that feeling, right? That little voice that says: - "You’ve done enough today." - "It’s okay to skip just this once." - "You can always catch up tomorrow." But here’s what I’ve learned: - The body can handle more than we give it credit for. - It’s the mind that often tries to limit us. - The secret is to "just start". - Every step weakens the voice of doubt. - Each mile strengthens your belief in yourself. Today, I ran 1.01 miles at a pace of 11:18 min/mile. Not the fastest I’ve ever run, but that’s not the point. The victory is in showing up, even when your mind tells you not to. It's about proving that you can push through, that you are capable of more than you realize. For me, every run has become a lesson in mental resilience. It’s not about the distance or the speed; it’s about showing up for yourself, every single day. So, what mental battles are you fighting today?
