As a reminder, remote work simply means you don't go to a physical office owned by a company. Remote work can be REMOTE and still... - Require you live in certain states - Not allow you to travel on the clock - Require you live in certain time zones - Require strict office hours - Require extensive travel There are so many types of work arrangements that there will never be enough terms to fit every type. We really only have three universally accepted: remote, hybrid, and in person. Don't focus on the label, focus on finding the arrangement that makes sense for you. #hiring #remotework

Nowadays, 'Remote Work' is a dream job for many people! However, there is a catch in remote job postings. Many companies advertise remote work opportunities but fail to provide that option effectively. This is a request to all companies who offering remote jobs: Please stop misusing the term 'remote work' if you cannot offer it properly. Remote work encompasses much more than just 'not working from the office.' It means 'Work from Anywhere' (WFA), not just from home or within a city. All a person needs is a laptop and Wi-Fi, and the entire world can become their office. However, if you cannot offer 100% location flexibility, then 'home office' or 'hybrid' are the terms to use. This indicates that candidates are expected to work from home but must be close to your office. I understand that there are various reasons why companies define geographical boundaries, even when they aim to offer full flexibility. #remotejob #workfromhome #hybrid #trending #mfis
