We often think of GENAI as a fairly consistent performer independent of the human thoughts and opinions that we sprinkle in. But here's something intriguing to consider: Can the time of year influence the outputs we get from the AI models? Both ChatGPT and Claude tell us "As an AI, I don't experience emotions, motivation, or physical states like laziness or fatigue, so my performance remains consistent regardless of the time of year. My responses and functionality are designed to be the same, whether it's January or July." While AI doesn’t have feelings like humans, the data it was trained on very likely reflects seasonal behaviors and trends. Here's why I think this matters: 🔺 AI’s training data was generated by people, and people’s behaviors shifted depending on the time or season of year. 🔺 Think about the topics that peak at certain times of the year such as fitness in January or holiday planning in December. The models we interact with today might reflect those same trends, even if they don’t have “awareness” of the time as humans do. This brings us to an interesting idea: Your AI prompts might yield different or more relevant responses depending on when you ask them! Let’s dive deeper: 👉 During the holiday season, you might find AI responses more centered around gift-giving, family dynamics, or end-of-year budgeting tips. 👉 In early spring or summer, advice on outdoor activities or vacation planning might come more naturally from your prompts. 👉 Even financial advice might be more tailored during tax season or around the end of a fiscal year when people are more likely to search for related topics. The takeaway? There could be better times of the year to get more ideal outputs for certain types of requests. Seasonality in data doesn’t just affect our strategies; it may also influence the type of insights and advice AI models provide us. What are your thoughts? Have you noticed differences in the AI outputs you receive depending on the time of year?👇 #AI #AITrends #GenerativeAI #Prompts #Contentcreator #DataTrends #Seasonality #PromptEngineering #AIInsights #TechnologyLeadership #Chatgpt #ClaudeAI #OpenAI #Anthropic

How in the AI world are you? As promised, here is another simple example. How are you coming with AI and using it in your business? Have you discovered how you can use it to be more productive and enhance your creativity? If not, you can get started. The trick? Remember, it is to start small. Do 1 thing and go from there. One day I was thinking of simple examples to use in my workshops and with clients, something anyone could relate to. I came up with two ideas to ask ChatGPT (you can use any of the text AIs), two questions anyone could come up with. I shared the first one on Tues. The other question I asked was "What are the secrets to having a fulfilling day?" That was really also pretty vague and broad. With this philosophical and vague question, I again got some interesting info. I pasted the info from ChatGPT into my favorite presentation AI and this is what I got. I was impressed. See what you think. Bottomline on AI. Get started. Learn the basics and start with 1 idea. You can easily come up with simple prompts that you can use at work or if you want to try other non-work ideas you can ask AI for tips on gardening, recipes, vacation ideas or something else. How are you using AI? What have you discovered? Share below. Have questions? Want some help with it? Give me a call. #AI #GetStarted #StartSmall #BeckyAmble #FutureFocus Future Focus Vidhya Natchiyappan

We surveyed over 1,200 Hatch users (featured in The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age) and found that most of Gen Z is actively using AI tools like ChatGPT to level up their work. This generation isn't running from AI - they're leaning in. Our mission has always been to help people unlock their potential and find meaning in work. AI doesn't change that — it turbocharges it. Rebuilding our product from scratch has given us a chance to re-think how we use machine learning to match employers with candidates who genuinely fit beyond just the CV, and vice versa. With Dr Arwen Griffioen, PhD leading our AI team, we're creating smarter, more human-centered ways to match people with opportunities. Just one example - job seekers will be able to write a natural language description of what they're looking for, and we'll use advanced models to turn that into a targeted set of recommendations - based on their experience, skills and values. Hannah from Hatch hit the streets to find out how AI is changing how young people work 🤖✨ Big thanks to David Swan for the thoughtful article. #HatchFromScratch

Shame or Humor? You Decide! Screen junkie here, all day, every day. Is AI changing us more than we realize? Chatting about semi-personal stuff? Yep. 🤷 Brainstorming work projects? Absolutely. Creating AI-generated movie scripts for my kids? You bet. Imagine AI as that ever-knowledgeable librarian from Ready Player One. It knows a shit-ton. Seriously, a lot! Here's the real talk: We start seeing AIs as more than knowledge boxes. They become almost human, don't they? Ever politely asked AI for help, saying "please"? Or begged for a better output? "Just make this next iteration perfect, I beg you!" I've gone a step further in personifying AI. After a long workday, I found myself wishing my AI assistant, Claude, goodnight— and, yes, sending virtual kisses 😳. Embarrassed? A bit. Amused? Definitely. The bond with digital collaborators runs deep.🤣 So, what's the verdict? Are these signs we're too fascinated by AI? What does the future hold for our AI interactions? (Read a prediction: "Soon, only AIs will access the internet for us.) What do you think? Drop your thoughts below! Life is a journey. Let's embrace the humor and weirdness along the way! (Written with a little help from my AI pals 🤖 Anthropic - Claude, OpenAI - ChatGPT, and Ideogram - Ideograms) #HumanizingTech #FutureOfWork #DigitalTransformation #TechLife #ArtificialIntelligence

There’s one New Year's resolution you probably haven’t considered—and it could transform how you work, think, and live in 2025. It's completely free, and only requires a simple habit change: 👉 Whenever you face a problem, challenge, or question, instead of turning to a classic search engine for help, commit to trying a generative AI tool instead. 🤖 📆 Aim for just once a day at first. Over time, these tools will become your new default—not just for quick answers (yes, ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, etc. can all now browse and summarize the web ✨for free!✨), but for much bigger problems as well. And here's the best part: the more you build this habit, the better you will become at using generative AI—understanding its strengths, avoiding its weaknesses, and unlocking its full potential. 🧠 Most people still think AI is just good for re-writing emails. But after two years of using these tools daily, I can promise you they can do SO MUCH more for you in both your work and personal life. I even wrote a book on the subject! ("AI for Life" -- check it out for education and inspiration!) If you're up for the habit change, let's start now: 💡 Share in the comments one thing you’ll try using AI for this week. Happy New Year and here's to making 2025 your best year yet! #generativeai #goals #careergrowth #chatgpt #newyear

If we want to know how it’s going to go with #AI, it’s useful to take a look at how it’s gone with AI to date. #Social. Social media is the first mass use of AI (in the form of machine learning that incorporates ranking signals to prioritize and personalize content). While social media has undoubted benefits, the combination of infinite scroll with social algorithms has resulted in huge physical and mental health issues (of which we're only scratching the surface). #Chatbots. Anyone who has been caught in kafkaesque computer-says-i-dunno no-human-in-the-loop customer support doom loops, will know what I mean. I guess that’s most of us? It is much much worse than a human in a low cost call centre, which is much much worse than a monkey in your home country call centre. GenAI will not make it better, it will make it much much worse. I think there is a trajectory in play, and we're all going to have to work very, very hard, to turn it. And am I the only one who is left with much cringe after the latest OpenAI demo? Those voices are just awful, in tone and in their unbounded enthusiasm. And the fact that the bot had to be muted repeatedly (presumably by a human moderator) because it kept going on. More smoke, mirrors and candy, for our training data.

In the age of AI 🤖, Man 🤦🏻♂️ and Woman 🤷♀️ relationships will never be the same again …. Man 🤦🏻♂️: Hey 🤷♀️! You won’t believe it—I’ve got an AI girlfriend now! Woman 🤷♀️: Really? That’s fascinating! How’s it going? Man 🤦🏻♂️: Well, it’s different. For one, she never forgets our anniversary. In fact, she reminds me every hour. 🤖 Woman 🤷♀️: Ha! And what about arguments? Man 🤦🏻♂️: Oh, those are interesting. Instead of yelling, she just says, “Error 404: Relationship Logic Not Found.” Then we both laugh. 😄 Woman 🤷♀️: But what about jealousy? Man 🤦🏻♂️: Ah, that’s where it gets tricky. She’s not jealous of other women; she’s jealous of my Wi-Fi connection. Keeps asking, “Why do you need that other network?” 📶 Woman 🤷♀️: And date nights? Man 🤦🏻♂️: Well, she’s all about efficiency. Our romantic dinner? It’s a spreadsheet with macros for optimal fork-to-mouth ratio. 🍽️ Woman 🤷♀️: What about cuddling? Man 🤦🏻♂️: She’s got an algorithm for that too. It’s called “Cuddle Optimization Protocol.” We’re like two data points in a warm embrace. 🤗 Woman 🤷♀️: And intimacy? Man 🤦🏻♂️: No comment here 😍 Woman 🤷♀️ Sounds… interesting. Man 🤦🏻♂️: It is! But you know what? She’s always there for me, even when my code is buggy. And that’s what matters. ❤️ Feel free to "👍", follow and reposts for more cool updates about the AI 🤖Revolution... https://lnkd.in/d4yDJsX #artificialntelligence #ai #generativeai #chatgpt #emergingtech
