The most important thing that I've learned about business is that the better YOU are, the better the business will be. If your mind isn't in the game, it's going to be hard to play it. If your heart isn't in the game, you will never be your best. If your relationships are out of whack, you will be lonely no matter how many people you surround yourself with. The list goes on... YOU need to be happy and pointed in the right direction. You don't have to wait until everything is perfect because perfect doesn't exist. You just need to be working on yourself harder than you do on your business. Simple steps you can take today. 1. Set some goals. Anything is better than nothing. 2. Block off some time on your calendar. 3. Ask someone for help. It could be a spouse, friend, colleague, or anyone else you trust.

Things I started doing to change my business seemingly overnight: I started keeping a good calendar. Keeping your time organized daily is a great way to maximized your day-to-day efficiency. You will find yourself in your phone less and less because you will always know your next task. I started maintaining friendships and relationships. I did this by calling 5-10 friends or clients weekly, staying top of mind, and discussing what I need. Be genuine in your conversation, but clear about your requests, and don't hesitate to say, "My job would be easier with more clients and referrals like you." People will then help by imagining fitting others into your needs. I started putting my phone in another room. People think I'm crazy for this, but unplugging from work eventually leaves you more refreshed and less stressed. I leave my phone in another room at night and wake up more productive without doom-scrolling for the first 30 minutes I realized that grace and consistency go hand in hand. Consistency is important, but only if you can give yourself grace in the process. Resting is important, you can't do it all in a day or a week. Taking a day of rest isn't going to ruin your business, it will help it grow because then you can grow.

If your business isn't making $500k a month. Here’s what you need to do. Take your shirt off. Put your hands in the air and yell "booga booga shi shi" 5x Then do 3 pirouettes while touching the tip of your nose. Then call everyone in your network for 4h and force them with urgency to buy your product. Do this every hour of each day until you get $500k a month. - This is what most of the posts from get rich quick gurus sound like to me. It's amazing how many people fall for this crap. Business is about trust and that takes time. Don't let these gurus fool you into thinking that grinding and pressure is the way. - I have a free newsletter that goes out every Sunday called Wisdom From The Wild you can catch it here. https://lnkd.in/eZCVhCBj

The only thing that needs to change is your mind. Your business will only change if you change your mind. Your relationships will only change if you change your mind. Your habits will only change if you change your mind. Your future will only change if you change your mind. What is REALLY important to you? What REALLY resonates with you? Nobody is going to change your life for you. They can't! So for all of you planning on major shifts in 2025, do it! Some people will support you. Others won't. What is most important is where you place your attention. So, what are you going to do?

The best way to murder your business. Most people love to talk about the right things to do. But today, let's flip the script. Turns out, knowing what you shouldn't do is just as important. So, here’s your foolproof guide to killing your business this year. 1.don't work this year. after All, new year new me right? That's definitely a really good decision. even though you said that last year. 2.you shouldn't care about your health. Who needs it? Keep grinding 24/7. After all, hospitals will happily take your hard-earned money when you finally work yourself to a pulp. 3.don't listen to other people's advice. You're the best and no one's advice can actually help you. So what! if they've achieved all your goals. You're still the smartest. 4. Don’t network. Networking is overrated. Why waste time meeting people who could open doors for you? You’re way too good for that. 5. Skip building a personal brand. Everyone will just know how amazing you are when they see your name pop up in their inbox. No need to show your value upfront. Feel free to apply all this great advice to your business. That's all for now, stay safe, Kachi. PS: Ohh wait, I forgot you shouldn't listen to other people's advice😂.

We know where our teeth are, but that doesn’t stop us occasionally bashing a coffee mug into them... We know where our tongue is but that doesn’t stop us occasionally biting it when earnestly chowing down on our favourite meal... We know where our arms are but that doesn’t stop us occasionally cracking them on a protruding door handle... We know where our toes are but that doesn’t stop us smashing them on the bed post from time to time... It’s the same in business: We know who our ideal client is but that doesn’t stop us occasionally taking on the wrong one We know we are capable of doing our job exceptionally well, but that doesn’t stop us having the occasional bout of imposter syndrome and wondering “what the hell am I doing?” We know our business makes money, but we don’t always recognise its ability to scale, make more or have more impact. I can’t stop you bashing your teeth with your coffee mug, banging your arm on the door handle or even stubbing your toes on the bed post... But I can help you to see the potential you and your business have.

When you fix yourself, business becomes a breeze. Most people avoid the things they don’t want to do, when ironically, most times the things you want come as a result of difficult struggles. Physique, optimal health, relationships, skill development I wake up at 6:30am every day and walk 1.5km to the gym and 1.5km back after in -15 degree weather. I don’t want to go so early, I don’t want to walk, I’d rather drive. But then I remember, everything in life is sacrifice. And if you don’t have it, you can artificially create it. You think building a business is tough after this? lol I just make a few videos, press a few buttons, and talk to clients. The hard part is fixing yourself, then the business and everything else becomes a breeze.

** Your business will never outgrow the level of vision, belief, or discipline you bring to it. ** Here’s the uncomfortable truth: if you’re struggling to get clients, create consistent revenue, or stand out online, it’s not because of the market or the economy. It’s because of the limits you’ve placed on yourself. The reality is, your business grows as you grow. If you’re not willing to stretch, learn, and step into the authority you were called to be, your business will stay stuck. Ask yourself: • Am I playing small because I’m afraid of rejection? • Am I avoiding the bold moves that could change everything? • Am I operating with the belief that I was made to serve at a higher level? God didn’t call you to struggle. He called you to shine. But it’s up to you to step into that calling. The moment you change the way you see yourself, your business will start to change too. Comment below the word “GROWTH” if you’re ready to unlock the next level of your business! Blessings, Chris

8 years ago, this happened. I got married to my wife, Charlotte. A lot has changed in those eight years: • I have gone from no kids to 2 • I have gone from working offline to online. • I have gone from a business with 1 member of staff (me) to 10. • I have gone from 85 to 94 kg (and now back to 87 kg). 4 lessons I've learnt along the way: 1. Stop pressuring yourself to grow a business overnight. You can’t force it. It makes you feel like shit. It will only grow at the rate your skills grow. 2. Eating right and exercising regularly matters! It clears my head, gives me more energy, and helps me make better decisions. 3. Helping as many people as possible without expecting anything back is the best way to build a reputation. 4. Being open and honest about where you are is a superpower. Not something to be ashamed of. Share it helps.

jop I’ve mentioned before there are three experiences a client can have: 1. They are an unhappy client who got LESS than what they expected. 2. They are a satisfied client who got EXACTLY what they expected. 3. They are a happy client who got MORE than what they expected. Anytime a client is willing to say good things about your company and share it publicly, follow up with them, and do things others won’t… Send them a handwritten card. Call them. Send them an email thanking them. Your raving fan clients will be your biggest evangelists, and they will bring more people. And once you have momentum, your job is to KEEP IMPROVING. Never lose the enthusiasm that got you into business in the first place… even when it’s difficult or frustrating. Remember: Amateurs wait for inspiration; Professionals do it with a headache.

A while back, I spent hours trying to fix a glitch on my website. It felt like a small task I should be able to handle, but the deeper I went, the more tangled it got. Finally, I swallowed my pride and asked a fellow micro-business owner for help. Within 10 minutes, they pointed out a simple fix. What took me hours of frustration could’ve been solved with a single question! The lesson? As micro-business owners, we often feel we need to figure everything out on our own, but the reality is: collaboration beats isolation. Whether it’s advice, referrals, or even just a listening ear, your network is one of your greatest assets. Remember, asking for help isn’t a weakness—it’s a smart business move. Cheers to all the people in my network, and a big shout out to the EVO Business Networking crew.
