Yesterday in honor of World Remembrance for Traffic Deaths Day, we remembered those who have tragically lost their lives in roadway crashes. Any life lost using our transportation system is unacceptable. Reaching zero deaths requires the implementation of a Safe System Approach, and ITS America advocates for a technology-forward approach with layers of protection for all: safe road users, safe vehicles, safe speeds, safe roads, and post-crash care.
