Today is National First Responders Day! Our APWA Kentucky chapter kicking it off in a great way with a proclamation from Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear. Nice work, Tyler Hill, Tom Logan, and your group! Tom is the public works director Boone County, KY, and a delegate for the Northern Kentucky Branch. Calling all Florida advocates! CAI Florida Legislative Alliance needs YOUR help! We need YOU to tell your representatives in Tallahassee to AMEND HB 1021 Community Associations! HB 1021 intends to address important issues, but it fails to provide associations with the tools they need to comply with the necessary but expensive state mandates regarding building safety and integrity. Addressing the critical issues of time and money required for the implementation of state-mandated safety strategies through legislation is important, but associations need the resources to achieve these laudable goals. HB 1021 has the potential to provide significant relief and clarity to Florida’s millions of condominium and cooperative owners. We urge you to stand with us and demand that lawmakers amend this bill to become a vehicle to address the issues that matter the most to YOU. Together, we can make a difference! Tell your State House Representative about the important issues facing Floridians and urge House Leadership to prioritize these issues in HB 1021. https://lnkd.in/dT9x8gJS
