I've just completed the "Operating Systems from Scratch - Part 1" course on Udemy! 🚀 This course has deepened my understanding of the core concepts of operating systems, including CPU scheduling algorithms, memory management, and the fundamental differences between programs and processes. Highlights of the course: 1. In-depth exploration of various CPU scheduling algorithms like FCFS, SJF, and SRTF. 2. Detailed lessons on memory allocation and paging. 3. Practical examples and theoretical insights that have broadened my perspective on computer science. Huge thanks to the instructor for making complex concepts so accessible and engaging. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to strengthen their foundation in computer science. Looking forward to applying these skills in real-world scenarios and continuing my learning journey in Part 2! 💡

We often get asked "Who are your teachers?" Our answer? 👇 UC Scout teachers are the most compassionate and dedicated educators we know. They do not stop until every student has a clear understanding of the most challenging of concepts — especially in difficult subjects like computer science. 💻 But don't take it from us. Take it from the students themselves! It warms our heart to hear what this student had to say about our On Demand Computer Science teacher Mrs. Loche. 🌟 Head to https://bit.ly/3VKGquz to learn more. #ComputerScienceEducationWeek #CSEdWeek

As the computing lead at my school, I have been working on up-skilling my understanding of teaching computing to primary school children. Part of the process is to learn how to code using Scratch and Scratch Jnr as well as delivering on the 3 main curriculum strands of computing. The insight I have gained from the National Centre for Computing Education has given me the confidence to implement an engaging curriculum for our school! #primaryteaching #computing #personaldevlopment #improvingcomputingwithineducation
Primary Computing - Professional Development 2023-2024 was issued by National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) to Paul Simons.
