Is LED strip voltage drop harmful? 🔍 A voltage drop in an LED strip is usually not detrimental to the performance of the LED itself, as it simply delivers a lower voltage to the LED than originally expected. However, a voltage drop usually means that there is a loss of power due to resistance, which generates a lot of heat. Hey all, I want to highlight a critical consideration: avoid using HVLS fans in areas with significant obstructions.    For instance, take a look at spaces with fire trucks and extensive racking. I came across a plan where an engineer placed fans uniformly throughout the building, but this doesn't work well in obstructed spaces. In the airflow diagram, dark blue indicates no airflow, showing how obstructions block flow down the aisles of these racks.   Placing an HVLS fan here won’t cover the entire area. Instead, for effective airflow down the racking aisles, use directional fans mounted to the ceiling. This illustration clearly demonstrates when to choose high-volume, high-speed (HVHS) directional fans over HVLS fans.
