We are proud to share insights from Lene Lange, PhD & Dr Scient., Professor & Entrepreneur and one of the founding members of the MicrobiomeSupport Association, with an amazing passion for microbiome research. “Forming a MicrobiomeSupport Association can strengthen microbiome-focused research, uses of microbiome solutions (for One Health and improved sustainability), and, not the least, international knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts in doing so. For faster implementation, regulatory obstacles need to be addressed. This requires dialogue and knowledge exchange, in which the association can play a proactive role. Much more research efforts are needed to more comprehensively understand the composition of the various types of microbiomes, being so much more than just bacteria. And most importantly, to elucidate its role and function and the interactions within the microbiome and with its host and substrate. I am proud to be among the founding members and to continue contributing to elucidating the common microbiome secretome, the exo-enzyme profile (along with the secreted secondary metabolites). This is key to innovating even more uses of microbiome knowledge and insight.” #Microbiome #FoodSystems #MicrobialInnovation #CircularBioeconomy #Innovation #StakeholderEngagement P.S. Public perceptions of Microbes Recent research highlights how little is known about public perceptions of micro-organisms and microbiomes. This makes it difficult to develop tailored messaging. This study concludes that non-microbial interests, such as an interest in health and wellness, may lead to acquisition of microbial knowledge and that people want scientists to share microbial messages preferably on platforms like social media. Additionally, this research identified that confusion about microbial terms is often accompanied by a desire to understand human-centric benefits of microorganisms and microbiomes. It is suggested that microbiologists partner with science communicators to develop microbial messaging, capitalizing on connections to non-microbial interests and appealing to people’s microbial worldview. My take on a direct response ad for Plug the Flow by Sova Health In my research, I found that a lot of people are consuming prebiotics for curing their diarrhoea. But prebiotics can actually be harmful and actually worsen diarrhoea and stomach pain. Take a look at how this ad educates consumers about the harmful effects of prebiotics, Then tells them about a fungus which solves the problem, And then reveals the product when it’s completely clear what works and what does not. ***There is a technical error in the ad where I’ve mentioned the solution to be a bacteria and not a fungus***

"Clinical trials are expensive" No doubt about that. Together, we can do something about it. On this eve of Giving Tuesday, I want to share how to achieve the most impact with your dollar: visit our URL (in the image) and please throw a few dollars to our Project Citru campaign. 90% of us don't get enough fiber, and fiber deficiency could be major contributor to several devasting chronic diseases. Ancient citrus peels are the answer. 🍊 Your contribution will help fund our prebiotic clinical study, changing the way we view citrus peels forever. We need this solid clinical evidence to rewrite the rule books on citrus peel. No more fiber-related diseases, no more citrus peel waste! With perks that include microbiome testing and a bottle of our patented Extra-strength product for digestive health, what are you waiting for? Let's work together to save citrus, your gut, and the planet. #NaturalHealth #FDAReform #MedicalFoods #HealthInnovation #ChronicDiseaseManagement Could you please like, comment, and share for reach? 🙏
