MicrobiomeSupport Association’s Post

We are proud to share insights from Lene Lange, PhD & Dr Scient., Professor & Entrepreneur and one of the founding members of the MicrobiomeSupport Association, with an amazing passion for microbiome research. “Forming a MicrobiomeSupport Association can strengthen microbiome-focused research, uses of microbiome solutions (for One Health and improved sustainability), and, not the least, international knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts in doing so. For faster implementation, regulatory obstacles need to be addressed. This requires dialogue and knowledge exchange, in which the association can play a proactive role. Much more research efforts are needed to more comprehensively understand the composition of the various types of microbiomes, being so much more than just bacteria. And most importantly, to elucidate its role and function and the interactions within the microbiome and with its host and substrate. I am proud to be among the founding members and to continue contributing to elucidating the common microbiome secretome, the exo-enzyme profile (along with the secreted secondary metabolites). This is key to innovating even more uses of microbiome knowledge and insight.” #Microbiome #FoodSystems #MicrobialInnovation #CircularBioeconomy #Innovation #StakeholderEngagement P.S.
