When I look at different EMS products, one of the things I like to ask is this a solution looking for a problem or is it a solution that actually is set up for a problem that exists? And so here's your standard bag valve mask comes in a big bag and then in here pocket mask oxygen tubing. Nice product. By all means a good stuff. A couple issues though is it takes up a lot of space, right? This is usually the biggest single item in any jump kit. And then one of the problems I've encountered a couple times, and I always make sure to to is good to go when I do my bag check or rig check, is that there's actually a pocket mask on the bag valve mask, because you don't want to discover that at the moment you have to start doing a mask to mouth ventilations. And recently I received this. It's the Pocket BVM, a manual. Resuscitator or the Micro BVM a really interesting product. So right in here this about not much bigger than a case that just a pocket mask would be in. I'm going to open this up and there's going to be a mask and a bag valve mask, so just unscrews. Here's the mask part, and then let me take the rest of the thing out. And there's actually instructions on the cap here, so you separate the mask in the bag. We're going to do that and then you just separate the pieces here and this thing is good to go. Put the mask on. And then you'd have to attach some oxygen tubing to this obviously. And now we've got an adult size bag valve mask and for me there's a lot of great utility for this product. First of all, just in any jump kit, the chance to save all that space, you know when you compare this inside of big bag to just having this inside you jump kit, this now becomes something I could keep in my glove box as a first responder or a Backcountry. Get for people leading expeditions, one of the questions I get oftentimes is a Wilderness Medical Associates instructor is what equipment should we bring. I always say bring a pocket mask for sure because you can ventilate somebody for a long time. But because of the low profile here now groups going out extended expeditions might be thinking about this pocket BVM, the manual resuscitator. It's a single use item just like any other bag valve mask or most other bag valve mask and I'm really excited. Because I think this is a product that's designed to solve an actual problem.
