BEMS Energy is embarking on a significant project to upgrade the constant volume ventilation systems at one of our larger client's sites, transforming them into a demand-based ventilation system. By installing ABB inverters on the supply and extract fan motors and integrating them with the Trend BMS system, we have been able to optimise fan speeds according to CO2 levels. This innovative approach has already yielded impressive results, with energy savings of over £220 in just three days, equivalent to a reduction of 1.6 tonnes of CO2.
