The most robust microorganism can withstand extreme levels of radiation. Called Deinococcus Radiodurans, this bacteria's sturdiness is credited to its highly efficient protection against proteome damage. Proteome ensures cell recovery from radiation damage by repairing disintegrated DNA. This bacterium can also survive acids, vacuum exposure, and lack of water. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gSxuU5H7

How Bacteria in mucus develop Protection Against Physical Forces The mucus layer serves as a barrier that is continuously cleared by cilia and other mechanical forces. Some bacteria have developed strategies to resist this physical clearance: Capsules: Many bacteria produce a protective capsule, which is a thick, gelatinous layer outside the cell wall. Capsules protect bacteria from desiccation, help them evade immune responses, and reduce the force with which they are swept away by mucociliary action. Surface Modifications: Some bacteria modify their surface to better resist physical clearance. For example, they may alter the structure or composition of their pili or other surface proteins to ensure they can adhere more effectively to the mucus or epithelial cells.

#Antibacterial Effects of Abutment Screws Made with Silver Alloy (AgDSF) Emitting Far Infrared Radiation (FIR) [Patent US7258689 by Francesco di Salvo). The FIR emission of the Abutment Screws made with Silver Alloy AgDSF was in the range of 100–120 μm at 35 °C and exhibited an emissivity value of 0.973 and an emissive power of 4.16x103 Wm−2 with a web area density of 6.17 gm−2. FIR-induced antimicrobial properties of the abutment screw made with AgDSF can be effective for Bacterial Reduction against both Staphylococcus Aureus and Escherichia Coli at 99.9 %

Lanceolate shaped bacteria observed in gram stained smear. Did u know which bacteria is that? Its pneumococcus🧫 Pneumococci are Gram-positive, slightly elongated, oval to lanceolate-shaped diplococci (0.5 and 1.25 micrometers in diameter), usually occur in pairs or short chains surrounded by a thick capsule. One end of the Pneumococcus is broad and the other end is pointed giving it the typical lanceolate shape. Pneumococci are bile soluble, but susceptible to optochin. Viridans and other typical streptococci can survive in the presence of optochin.

Blood Is a fluid connective tissue which can be divided into Plasma( Fluid matrix) and formed elements.. plasma mostly carries proteins,Minerals,Ions etc. Formed elements include 1.RBCs: Contains Haemoglobin which helps to transport oxygen... 2.WBCs:- Provide us the power to fight against pathogens. WBCs can be Granulocytes or Agranulocytes 3.platelets(Thrombocytes) : Helps in clot formation.
