With #AI advancements moving at a rapid pace, it can be tough to keep up. We’re just getting used to the idea of AI as a personal assistant, and now the concept of agents is front and center.    You can think of agents as the apps of the AI era—and they’re going to completely reimagine business processes for every organization. They range from simple prompt-and-response agents to fully autonomous ones—able to execute entire workflows in the background, freeing you to focus on the work only you can do. Check out my latest newsletter to learn more about what an agent is, how they work, and why they’re going to change work for everyone.

Thank you Jared Spataro This reminds me of when smartphones first emerged - we thought they were just 'better phones' until they transformed everything about how we live and work. AI and AI agents are following that same pattern, but at hyperspeed. Just last week, I automated a 4-hour data analysis workflow into a 15-minute process, letting me focus on strategic insights instead of spreadsheet formatting. The real magic isn't in the technology itself, but in how it's freeing us to tackle the creative, meaningful work we never had time for before. We're not just keeping up with AI - we're finally catching up with our own potential. 💡✨

The unique thing about AI releases is that it will always be underwhelming for many users as they beleive a so much more should be possible with the current status of the technology. But organisations are trying to strike a careful balance between being cutting edge and launching something that works consistently at scale

AI agents are solid, but their true value lies in integration. Organizations must ground agents in their data and workflows for optimal results. Platforms like Copilot Studio are making this accessible but we’d recommend focusing on robust governance, clear training protocols, and well-defined triggers to ensure your agents act reliably and securely.

There are issues with AI compliance in spam regulations and bypassing NoMoRobo. Since AI, I am receiving double the spam calls and significantly more unsolicited emails. The safeguards do not work and the opt out feature fails. While I support AI, we all must recognize unintended consequences and block AI misuse.

Thank you for this insightful post! One additional perspective to consider is the ethical implications and governance of AI agents. As we integrate these powerful tools into our business processes, it’s crucial to establish robust frameworks for transparency, accountability, and fairness. Ensuring that AI agents operate within ethical boundaries will not only build trust with stakeholders but also enhance the long-term sustainability of AI-driven innovations. Furthermore, investing in continuous learning and upskilling for employees to work alongside AI can foster a more harmonious and productive human-AI collaboration. Looking forward to seeing how these advancements unfold!

Thanks for sharing, Jared. We're definitely entering a new era with AI agents. As I assist mid-sized companies in adopting and developing AI agents, I'm looking for a step-by-step guide to create and implement these agents. Where can I find these resources, and what are the steps to becoming an MVP on Copilot? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

At the beginning, it was all about human-human collaboration. Then AI-human collaboration started, and now it's getting even more interesting with AI-AI collaboration. Interesting times supported by Copilot Studio and Copilot agents.
