🌟 A Milestone Moment for World Wide Technology! 🌟 I am truly proud to work at WWT. This morning we received word from our EVP of Global Human Resources and DEI Robert (Bob) Ferrell of a major change in our compensation package that could change lives of those who work so hard across ALL of our business lines and given so much sweat equity. This is a term my dad used all the time when I had to open our family newspaper shop every morning at 5 am growing up. Let’s be real—I've heard it, you’ve heard it: ‘A company is like a family.’ But, is it really? Families don't fire their children when they're underperforming or furlough them when times are tough. Here's a better way to look at it: a workplace should be a community. One where people are united by shared values, treated with respect, and have a real voice in decisions that shape their experience. I still see postings proudly claiming, ‘We’re like a family!’ But it’s time to retire that analogy.
