As we start thinking about upcoming Memorial Day parties, let's think about the leftovers, too! Don't let your delicious leftovers go to waste—or worse, become a safety hazard! Storing your feast correctly is key to enjoying it safely for days to come. Here’s how to store your leftovers properly: ❄️ Cool Quickly: Divide large amounts of food into shallow containers for quick cooling. Don't let food sit out for more than 2 hours (1 hour if it's over 90°F outside). 🧊 Refrigerate Promptly: Make sure your fridge is at or below 40°F. Get those leftovers in the fridge as soon as they've cooled. 🔒 Keep It Covered: One cooled, use airtight containers or tightly wrap foods to keep them fresh and avoid cross-contamination.” 🗓️ Label and Date: Keep track of what you've stored and when. Consume refrigerated leftovers within 7 days for best quality and safety. 🔥 Reheat Safely: When it’s time to re-enjoy, heat leftovers to an internal temperature of 165°F to kill any bacteria and only reheat what you will consume at that time. Follow these tips to ensure your Memorial Day feast is just as enjoyable the second (or third!) time around. Here’s to a safe and scrumptious holiday! #MemorialDay #FoodSafety #LeftoverTips #RiskNothing #FoodSafety

Thanksgiving is a time to gather, share meals, and celebrate gratitude with loved ones. For those daring to fry a turkey this year, remember that while the results are delicious, the risks can be serious if you don’t take proper precautions. 🦃🔥 Follow these tips for a safe Thanksgiving free of kitchen mishaps: 🍂 Always fry outdoors, on a flat surface, away from flammable items. 🍂 Ensure your turkey is completely thawed (trust us, water and hot oil do NOT mix). 🍂 Keep a fire extinguisher nearby just in case.
