One of the best things about horse races is that they happen all year long. Even when the traditional horse racing season is finished in the UK, you can still follow races in other regions like North America, Asia, and Australia. If you wager with a big-name bookie like Paddy Power, Unibet, or Betfred, you have access to a near endless stream of horse race events. Horse races provide a variety of betting opportunities, including each-way bets. By the way, if you are looking for information on the UK betting company sites we just mentioned, MightyTips has it. ⚽️📈 So, what does each-way mean in betting? Well, an each-way bet is actually two separate bets rolled into one. You wager on one outcome while, at the same time, wagering on another. While this may sound a bit confusing, it really isn't. Keep reading to find out our simple but detailed answer to the question at hand, which is: What does each-way mean in betting? ⬇️⬇️⬇️ https://lnkd.in/dUBqgp_t 🔗 #MightyTips #betting #tips

Why do I know the method I described in my last Post works? (It suits on-course horse racing bookies) When I was a Manager of a Bookies in Perth, when Perth Racecourse had a meeting, the on course bookies would come to me in the morning, and they’d Bet Antepost (as a Punter… knowing they’d be Bookie later in the day) with me (the Bookie, they were my Punter). I’d have to phone the Raceroom to get their Bets authorised (they were quite big bets), it was never a problem (I’d tell our Raceroom, it’s the oncourse bookies - they knew what they were doing). They were not looking for the Winner of a Race, they were looking for a Horse they could Lay (later in the day, when they were bookie at the race track). Using the same method the on course Bookies used, and the method I described in my last Post. You can also be the Punter (look for horses that you can back antepost… in the morning of the race) in the morning. Then, using Betfair (half an hour before the race starts, the race betting market opens), you can be the Bookie, using Betfair (and Lay the Horse you backed that morning). So, you’re not looking for the Winner of a Horse Race (that’s a gamble normally), you’re just looking for a Horse that’s a big price antepost, that’s a lower price, when the betting market opens properly (like the old school bookies) about 30/20 minutes before the actual Race. (it’s why you hear on course bookies screaming before a race, they’re best price on a specific horse) Any Bookie, let’s you be the Punter. Only Betfair, allows you to be the Bookie (Lay a Bet). Its a method that you can keep an eye out for opportunities to use it… otherwise, betting on a Horse is a Gamble (it’s not how to Bet Properly, normally).

Fantastic numbers and a real lesson in how to engage successfully with younger audiences.
The TAB Everest, Sydney’s premier race day, has officially sold out for the first time since its launch in 2017. With 50,000 racegoers set to attend this weekend, this milestone highlights the event’s growing popularity, particularly among younger audiences, with 35% of attendees aged 18-24 and over half of all tickets being General Admission. The TAB Everest has successfully attracted a new generation of racegoers, drawn to the thrilling racing and the exceptional value of a day at the races, with Joel Corry performing the After the Last concert for this year. Australian Turf Club CEO Matt Galanos said, “The TAB Everest’s sell-out crowd is vindication of the original vision of Racing NSW in creating the Everest concept and a testament to the event's evolution and the excitement it brings to the racing calendar. We’ve focused on creating an engaging, value-packed experience, particularly for younger audiences, and this result demonstrates our success in achieving that vision.”

15.20 Ripon Ratings 125 Dakota Gold 101 Baldomero 96 Fortamour 91 Magical Spirit 86 Quest For Fun 85 Baradar 84 Tacarib Bay 75 Eye Of Dubai 74 Tropical Island 71 Secret Guest 61 The Turpinator Form Guide Dakota Gold's Ripon form over 6f sft reads 2122, indicating strong performance at the course. It likes the distance and going, has shown good speed, and was first over 6f class 2 sft carrying 2lbs more. Based on this form, it could place at a good price. Each-way saver recommended. Baldomero: Has good form on soft ground and is in current good form. It was first at Doncaster over 6f soft class 2 carrying 5lbs less, with the jockey claiming 3lbs. Each-way bet suggested. Fortamour: Enjoys running at Ripon, has shown good form over the distance and class, likes the going, and has solid course form. It was first over c/d class 3 carrying 2lbs less, moving up in class today. Each-way bet advised. Key horses today: Our Absent Friends 14.25 Ripon Hurstwood 16.00 Ripon Aberama Gold 15.15 Haydock Mr Wagyu each-way 14.40 Haydock, due for a good run Adelaide Boy each-way 16.50 Chelmsford Koji 19.50 Chelmsford. Good luck if you're betting. I back the top-rated each-way if over 6/1, single if less than 6/1. I also follow this method for each-way tips. Typically, I back three in the race, each-way and win singles. This strategy has yielded a good profit over the year.

How saving $72 ended up costing me $12,238.40. It was May 5, 2001. I was attending the Kentucky Derby for the 3rd time. I went with my long-time friend and my new girlfriend, now my wife. ➡️ My Dad has been in the thoroughbred horse business since the mid-80s, so I grew up around racehorses and going to the track. - I can read a daily racing form or track program - I wanted to bet the 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗔 in this race - And I wanted to box that bet - This means that however many horses I pick - They can finish in any order (1, 2, or 3) - As long as no other horses finish there instead For example: If you bet horses 7, 12, 14, 1 These 4 horses can finish in any order as long as no other horses finish 1, 2, or 3. 📌Going into this 𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗬, my Dad had told me that one of the long shots was underpriced, so I should include him in my trifecta bet. That horse's name was INVISIBLE INK, and his odds were ~50/1. There was a superhorse named POINT GIVEN in this field, so he had to be included, too. He was the favorite to win, but favorites didn't do well at that time in the Derby. I planned on picking 4 horses and placing a trifecta box on them, costing $𝟰𝟴. I had 2 horses, mentioned above, but needed 2 more. I had it narrowed down to three 𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: • Monarchos (HIS ODDS WERE approx. 11/1) • Congaree (approx. 10/1) • Express Tour (approx. 15/1) ➡️ Express Tour was an international horse, they didn't usually run well at the Derby. (I, of course, ignored this information) I'd been studying all week and decided when I got up to the betting window. 💲I ended up placing a $2 trifecta box on these 4 horses, which cost me $48. #13 Invisible Ink #17 Point Given #16 Monarchos #6 Express Tour I decided 𝗡𝗢𝗧 to include Congaree. Including him in the Trifecta so that I'd be betting on 5 horses in my trifecta box would have cost me $120, an additional $72. ➜ 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧? The race goes off, and I'm watching from the infield (you can't see horses from there) on a giant monitor. As the horses came down the stretch, we watched Monarchos win, and we knew Invisible Ink was either second or third. Point Given wasn't there, and neither was Express Tour. ➡️ Who finished 3rd? 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲. My buddy looked at me and said you kept Express Tour and tossed Congaree, didn't you? I said, yep. He said, oh no. We watched in horror as the official results hit the board with that $2 trifecta wager paying $12,238.40. ➜ My decision to save $72 only cost me $12,000. I took it well. 𝗡𝗢, 𝗡𝗢, 𝗜 𝗗𝗜𝗗𝗡'𝗧. ➡️ The LESSON: spend a little extra to ensure everything is covered when you are between decisions. ➡️ LOOK at the bigger picture, and don't try and save $70 bucks. 📌 If you liked this story, and telling stories is important to you and your content creation journey, 𝗗𝗠 me "𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬" to learn how we can work together and help you tell better stories.
