Celebrate Black History Month with Migrant Leaders In my quest to recruit the 1700 Migrant Leaders mentors, I have had over a thousand meetings with corporate executives in the last 5 years. Every time someone said something interesting about their story and background I made a little note after the meeting. I ended up with almost 400 notes of the most remarkable migrant stories of resilience, drive and aspiration! I eventually felt that these migrant stories deserve to be heard so I went to speak to a couple of publishers. One of them told me you can't publish 400 stories. So I selected 60 of them that illustrate my own life lessons and through their generous permission to publish their story, the book Migrant Magic was born.
