A new YouGov advocacy survey on government funding of museums reveals that: 🏛️ 89% of UK adults think museums are important to UK culture 📈 76% think local museums add value to their area 💸 74% think local government should provide at least half of local museums' funding. For the arts to be accessible to all, we need them to be properly funded. This is all too often not the case, so it's encouraging to see such strong public support for government funding for museums.
