A week too late? Maybe!
I was a part of the Dev Fest at the Google Office, Cambridge last week. The theme this year - 'Responsible AI'!
This was the first time I attended an event targeted at the dev community. And entering the Google office made each of us have that 'One day I am going to wear the ID but not as a guest' moment. The event transformed my understanding of AI and cloud technologies, revealing depths and possibilities far beyond what I have worked on, and what my tech-savvy friends and colleagues had ever described.
D. Sculley, CEO of Kaggle has shared abundant knowledge in simple terms that even someone at Level 1 like me could understand. CEO for a reason! The experience included Jeff Whelpley explaining more about Search Engine Optimization revolution that Google brought upon.
And the highlight? Meeting the incredible Brenda Flynn who dropped some serious life wisdom between tech talks in a private chat. Her personal stories about navigating the tech world really hit home. I would remember the hard facts and the experiences like no other.
And I absolutely enjoyed listening to Boris-Wilfried Nyasse's take on Flutterflow and his product idea 'Oloodi Safe'. Boris had a grip on the audience throughout. When it comes to building products, it really fascinates me to know and understand the thought process, the need they observed, the gap they felt, and the moment the idea sparked in their mind.
Between learning about AI tools and geeking out over products, I found myself in the most random (and awesome!) conversations with fellow attendees. Huge shoutout to GDG Cloud Boston for bringing this fantastic crew together!
