After 10 years, we decided to update our Oracle book. Why? Because despite all the technological change of the past decade, Oracle remains a dominant relational database, especially for mission-critical enterprise systems. As a result, many developers still need to know how to use SQL and PL/SQL to work with it. Our latest edition of this book makes it easier than ever to learn how to work with an Oracle database. Do you know Oracle Database full-text search engine Oracle Text? Fully integrated and as part of Oracle's Converged database functionality can it be used in all Oracle Database editions. With Oracle Text you can perform e.g. linguistic analysis on documents in different formats or locations and search text using a variety of strategies. The latest developments in 23c even simplify the search across multiple objects within an entire schema and automate the index synchronization tasks. Are you looking for general resources to start with Oracle Text as a new user or to try certain features out? In Roger Fords last posting you can find information for both - for Oracle Text experts with many scripts on github to illustrate specific text features but also information for newcomers. You can start immediately in a "normal" database schema without additional setup. #oracledatabase #oraclecloudinfrastructure #convergeddatabase #23c #textmining #linguistic #search #oracletext #resources #scripts https://lnkd.in/dHvHSRps
