Happy World Health Day! 🌎 💚 What colours do you associate with health? An energetic canary yellow? Or how about a deep forest green? Our capabilities in consumer insights clarified what customers associate with health: The Moods & Emotions program at Givaudan is an extensive consumer study to measure the emotional and functional associations consumers do with different flavors, botanicals, and colours. In the EU, a vibrant green colour in candies has the strongest association with health, whereas older consumers lean more towards red colours. Our US survey is similar, looking into the association of colour intensity, shade, and cloudiness with moods & emotions and need states.
