SONG PRODUCTION TIP 11 of 100 Keep your rhythm steady by using a metronome or click track while recording, ensuring your music maintains a consistent tempo. This simple tool helps all elements of your composition stay in sync, resulting in a smoother and more cohesive sound overall. Some producers may start with a drum beat as a way of ensuring rhythmic precision. However, do note that there are some types of music where this tip would not apply, such as some traditional folk music where the beauty is in the live performance itself, with minor imperfections actually adding to the experience. #Musicproducer #Musicproduction #CAProductionTips

But for other types (think tours, some DIY) music can not only fill in awkward silences and mask ambient noise, it can help set the tone and move your viewer along the journey. So where can you get free or cheap music legally? This article has a few good recommendations. Yes, some of them are obvious (YouTube sound library) but a few I had never heard of. Check it out for the next time you need to add music. Read more 👉 https://lttr.ai/AX5Vr

When mixing, think of each element as having its own space. Adjusting levels and panning instruments can help your vocals shine without drowning out the rest of the music. For example, if your kick drum and bass guitar are fighting for attention, try rolling off some low frequencies from the bass. It’s all about creating clarity and depth, not just volume.
