We are proud to partner with the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London and their Centre for Sustainable Fashion on ‘Reimagining Materials’, a new student competition that reinforces circularity through design.     The competition encourages LCF students to develop creative ways to reimagine our surplus materials into new products.     The winning student will receive a design internship at Burberry, along with a cash prize. Their design, and the works of several other finalists, will be displayed at the London College of Fashion in April.    Discover more about our dedication to circularity here: https://lnkd.in/eTy_-Tf3

Not just LCF. I attend a school which also received donations of Burberry's surplus fabric but we do not have an opportunity to enter into the competition

Great idea, Bravo!- Are you able to document this process in video format? Similar to the series of short films you did with Little Simz, Olivia Coleman and Zhang Jingyi? For example a profile of the finalists or the strongest competitors talking about their process from ideation to creation coupled with that imagery. Not only is this more compelling to your audience, it also presents an opportunity to involve and include them. An example of including them would be by having them participate in a vote where they vote for their favorite student designer based on their designs. This also gives you insight into what your audience/customer would be interested in for upcoming seasons. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my paragraph. I would be interested to hear what you think, and elated to see these suggestions implemented. Best of luck.

It's inspiring to see Burberry's commitment to sustainability and innovation through this partnership with the London College of Fashion. This initiative is a fantastic way to nurture young talent and champion circularity in design. Kudos to everyone involved!
