Anxiety is a natural reaction when our brains are telling us we should be nervous or scared. Box breathing is a great tool to use before a big test, going into an uncomfortable feedback session, or facing a fear. Another grounding technique I use is the 5 senses. You think of 5 things you see; 4 things you can touch; 3 things you hear; 2 things you can smell; 1 thing you taste.
