As the world reeled from the impact of the pandemic, I found myself gravitating toward a personal rebirth. The Renaissance Series (2021–2023) emerged from this turbulent yet transformative period. Each piece became a beacon of hope, resilience, and optimism. In moments of uncertainty, we are called to reconnect with what is good and true. For me, painting became that lifeline—a tangible act of progress when the world stood still. Today, I share this journey, grateful for the colors that continue to evolve in all of us. Below is the evolution of “Recovery”, a painting that unfolded in my studio over the span of three months. This journey takes you from a blank canvas to a complex, layered piece, showcasing the progression of a single artwork through countless transformations. Beneath the final brushstrokes lie many previous versions—each a painting of its own.
