Try doing what young kids naturally do when moving toward a goal. How did we lose this as we grew up? I want it back!!! Let me know if this helps you revisit those goals that have gone from a sprint to a meander. It’s all in the mindset. How badly do you want it? What’s making you hesitant? Don’t devalue your imagining and deliberating phase, it sets the groundwork for you to take action once you have your own buy-in. Example: I fantasized about my long solo mountain hike (see last week’s videos) for two weeks leading up to it, feeling more nervous, thrilled and excited than I ever did going on a first date….because it was a date with my untested self that had never gone that far before. I wasn’t sure how I’d perform, but I knew I wanted it. I reflected a ton during the lead-up, asking myself the questions in this video. Once I was mentally prepared, the real hike was a refreshing adventure. 🌿Ming Coaching helps you build a strong support circle for life, heal relationships, and achieve your life goals. That's a powerful reflection! It's amazing how our mindset shapes our actions. I often find that the excitement of anticipation, like your hike, can be the catalyst for achieving big goals. Have you noticed any shifts in your mindset since that adventure?
