Speaking with Mining Magazine, Albert Lipson, group leader, separations and bioprocessing at Argonne said: "Talon is trying to set up a nickel mine in the US. And what they find is that they have alot of iron [waste] that they can use in LFPs, which contain iron and need a high purity source of iron. We are thrilled to announce that our recent exploration efforts have yielded exceptional results at one of our properties that have outlined four new zones with grades up to 27.9% Cg (carbon).. We collected total of 104 samples out of which: - 24 samples have results greater than 20% CG - 55 samples results greater than 10% CG - 71 samples results greater than 5% CG These findings significantly enhance the potential and value of the Ruisseau site, and we are excited about the opportunities this presents for future development. Conifer Systems has created a solution that can tackle the specific challenges that come with high-volume, low-concentration ventilation air methane applications. The solution, called Aeros MineOx, is designed to provide high thermal efficiency and low pressure drop. It enables autothermal operation within the range of 0.2% to 1.2% methane concentration by volume. US House Passes Critical Minerals Consistency Act Congressman Juan Ciscomani of Arizona who sponsored the bill, explained that the legislation would ensure uniformity between the Department of Energy’s and U.S. Geological Survey’s critical minerals list. In detail, it stipulates that within 45 days of the Department of Energy adding a mineral, material, substance or element to its critical minerals list, the agency must also update its list. This, he noted, would help strengthen the domestic supply chain and include silicon carbide, silicon, electrical steel and Copper on the critical materials list.
