MINKS INDUSTRIES IN RETROSPECT Starting a business in Ghana comes with its own hurdles, but with determination and the resilience, it can be a rewarding endeavor. Reflecting on the early days of Minks Industries Ltd, co-founded by my brother Ebenezer Amankwah-Minkah and me. We embarked on our journey in October 2017, when we broke ground on our factory. By November 2018, Minks Industry was fully operational in Ghana. Through teamwork and hard work, we successfully scaled the market in a remarkably short period of time. To increase visibility for the brand, we partnered with serwaa amihere for the Circa Cheers Health Walk in September 2018, an initiative to encourage both staff at GHOne TV and the general public to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The event brought together patrons from all walks of life who enthusiastically participated in aerobic sessions led by fitness instructors from Pulse Fitness Gym to prepare the mind and body, then the walk amidst the "Jama" and good music, followed by other fun activities. This journey was fueled by the unwavering support of our amazing team and friends: - Allswella Addo, your external network support was invaluable. - Dennis Owusu Sekyere, our factory lead for his dedication and expertise - Edwina Packson, my Executive Assistant/Business Development Lead, your strategic insights and unrelenting drive were key in pushing our objectives. - Agyekum Darkwaa Sandra and Michelle Mensah for their continuous contributions to our growth. As we reflect on our progress over the years, we are excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue to innovate and expand.
