Thank you so much for this, Andrew Carvajal; and thank you for having me back again, LPEN | Legal Professionals Education Network. I've been doing a lot of thinking and writing and speaking about the "soft skills" you're referring to. As a global "community", I feel we're just STARTING to understand the neurobiology of trauma; and to appreciate how daunting is the challenge of running a client-centered and trauma-informed practice. That said, my view is that these skills are fundamental to effective advocacy under ss.25 and 67 of the IRPA (the H&C provisions). Very much looking forward to tomorrow's session.
