Discovering Innovations at Formnext - Where ideas take shape Next week at Formnext, Altair will be sharing some exciting developments in implicit modeling and its powerful role in advancing industrial applications. We’re especially honored to highlight impactful work from the Renato Archer Center for Information Technology (CTI), where the LAPRINT Bioengineering and 3D Printing Laboratory is applying these technologies to create custom prosthetics, medical devices, and healthcare solutions that truly enhance patients’ lives. One heartwarming example are Prosthetics for toucans designed for comfort and functionality, with a durable lattice framework to ensure each design supports real-world needs. While industrial relevance and efficiency are essential, examples like these are a reminder of technology’s potential to improve lives, especially for those who need it most. Looking forward to connecting in Frankfurt next week to explore these advancements together. Visit the Altair booth in Hall 11.1, Booth B62, at Formnext 2024 You can schedule a meeting with Altair using the link below. https://lnkd.in/eF_KWeGZ #Formnext2024 #Altair #onlyforward #Innovation #Healthcare #3DPrinting #ImplicitModeling #TechnologyForGood

3D printing can simulate conditions like aortic dissection by using materials that behave like human tissue. For this project, we used a flexible, water-resistant material to create a realistic model of the condition. Models like these can help the medical research community develop new treatments and increase our understanding of disease behavior. #3dprinting #Medicalresearch #Hearthealth
