Building the bridge between Talents and Opportunities in Games | Founder @GameDev Stars | Ex Overwatch Top 500 EU

The 1st industry I worked in was Agricultural Machinery. It helped me find a job in games. 6th of September, 2022. 1st day as a Recruiter. "Mirko, you will recruit people who sell tractors" At first, I was like...what? Anyway, I did it and it was fun. (I could tell some crazy stories here) Since then, I worked in 4 different industries: - Agricultural Machinery - Paints and Coatings - Regulatory Affairs - HR SAAS Before I got my job in games. Were they useless experiences? Not at all. I've learned skills that I'm still using... ...and helped me find an opportunity in my sector It's okay to accept a transitory job  It's okay to complete undesired tasks  It's okay to work in a different industry As long as you learn and develop (and it allows to pay the bills) The time for your dream job will come 👊🏻 PS. How many Farming Simulator fans?

Mirko, I also worked in the following industries: Agricultural and Forestry Machinery manufacturing, Paints and Coatings. Agricultural and forestry machines were my passion - I was also the Administrator there, so I was close to production - amazing people and "Masters"😎 ⚒ 🛠 Paints and Coatings are my love. It's an amazing experience.

Every time I try to step away from tech (function primarily), it seems like I am tethered back so I am now accepting the tech side and looking at the most creative way to apply it. Crazy to see how my unique journey in Automotive and AI Consulting, not to mention my MBA, have given me all the skills to succeed. Excited to find my way into the games industry. Not all those who wander are lost ;)

The older I get, the more curious I get about agriculture. I might as well start playing "Farming Simulator" soon.
