MIT’s Day of Climate has awarded nearly $125K to support innovative, hands-on curricula for young learners and educators worldwide: https://bit.ly/4fVuTQu Aligned with Massachusetts Institute of Technology's presidential priorities, Day of Climate aims to help K-12 learners better understand climate change, its impacts, and potential solutions. “It is inspiring to see how the larger MIT community has come together in response to our invitation to develop interactive, hands-on learning activities,” says Claudia Urrea, Ph.D., sr. assoc. director of MIT pK-12 and director of Day of Climate. The proposals selected for funding come from members of MIT Design and Computation, MIT Edgerton Center, MIT App Inventor, MIT - Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, MIT Environmental Solutions Initiative, MIT EECS, and more.
