Introducing: The Build issue. Who says we can’t still build things? In this issue: a look at the robots we’ve always wanted; a new model for space exploration; and efforts to flood-proof Louisiana’s coastline. Plus a wild, weird history of brainwashing; designing cheese with AI; and glow-in-the dark petunias. Explore the full issue: https://trib.al/Y31EiGi

🚀 Learnings from building spatial intelligence 🛠️ With the recent advances in large multimodal models, AI is at the cusp of going beyond browsers and into the physical world. Having collected enterprise scale multimodal dataset, we quickly ran into multiple bottlenecks before we could work on end-to-end (e2e) AI for robotics. We found that the landscape of developer tools for e2e AI in robotics was fragmented, closed-sourced, or nonexistent. In part 1 of the blog series, we outline a few of the challenges we ran into. In part 2 of the blog series, we'll share how we are building our spatial intelligence platform (yaak.ai) to succeed at these challenges and bring e2e AI to robotics. I was participating in number of #AI panels and workshops in last ... 365 and more days, and half of them were focused on security, safety, fear, issues, problems etc. around use of AI. All good, we understand, working on whatever is needed to have control and reassurance around what would be the right regulated path for AI. But it is great to see positive and future ready articles and themes around how our life is going to be massively improved by the technology - same as it was with cars, airplanes, phones, mobile, internet. Great story on MIT Tech Review. https://lnkd.in/d2V9mK_Y
