Last night, while watching the interview of a client company’s Global CEO with Shereen Bhan on CNBC TV18, I was beaming with pride and a sense of accomplishment. And why not, for the last two odd weeks, our team had burnt candles at both ends to make this CEO visit to India, their best ever! Watching me in fascination while also trying to understand the high-level conversations on the show, my 11-year old daughter quipped, “Mom, you do some really cool stuff!” 😄 Little did she know that this one interview was just one of the multiple things our team had been able to accomplish in record time. All this, notwithstanding the colossal amount of work we do as part of our day to day. But that one unexpected compliment from her was heart-warming and uplifting - a reminder of how it’s important to pause and celebrate big and small wins. Folks in the Communications and PR industry know this industry is super dynamic and on any given day you can witness the highest highs and the lowest lows. It comes with its own set of challenges and unpredictabilities, but with meticulous planning, impeccable execution capabilities coupled with an indomitable spirit to do the right thing, you can make magic happen! And consequently, the value you’re able to create for a client and their reputation is disproportionate. This value creation is what makes our work so rewarding and meaningful. It goes beyond the realms of building just visibility in traditional platforms. It in fact is a strategic partnership to help them build trust with their stakeholders and eventually find the right opportunities for business growth organically. And this is what The Mavericks does day in, day out! A perfect concoction of grit, zeal, creativity and aspiration, this firebrand of a team is proudly ours. And the perks of being in this business, you get to see up close the queen of business news in action 😊 #communications #marketing #PR #oneteam
