MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy reposted this
Starting in February, I'm going to be co-teaching a new course at MIT Sloan, Generative AI Action Learning Lab, along with Tim Valicenti and Michiel Bakker. During the course, groups of 3-4 MIT students will work all semester on an organization-sponsored project around Generative AI. We have a very exciting collection of projects across a variety of industries. We are currently recruiting **volunteer mentors** to advise teams. A technical background or even a focus on AI is not required---industry experience and a desire to mentor students is what we're seeking. The formal expectation is that you would mentor students once a week for 25 minutes. However, mentors are welcome to come to class and will have access to our (excellent) teaching materials. It's also a great way to quickly learn about a wide variety of use cases, applications and challenges. We're particularly interested in Boston-based folks and Sloan alumni who would like to strengthen their relationship to MIT. If you'd like to be considered, please fill out this form: https://lnkd.in/ejYSFC8B.
Sounds like a fun, informative course!
As a former student of Analytics Lab and an industry mentor since 2017, I’ve found mentoring action learning labs to be an incredible opportunity to provide students with industry perspectives while staying connected with MIT. I’m excited to work with some of the brightest minds tackling cutting-edge challenges in Generative AI.
Great opportunity to get involved in advancements in Gen AI. Have re-posted for broader reach
Gen AI Action Learning Lab for diverse industries use cases- This is so relevant for 2025 and beyond as gen AI use cases move from pilot stages to commercial scaling. It will be a great immersive learning experience for all participants. All the best!

Very cool! I would be happy to mentor a team if that would be helpful, and I just filled out the form.
