If you want to go deeper than headlines and learn about climate change and climate action, here are two great resources. WARNING -- both of these are a bit dense and long, but they are full of timely and detailed information to give you a full picture. 1) Nat Bullard's annual state of decarbonization (https://lnkd.in/e_dRb9iP). This is a treasure trove of charts about the current state of the climate, capital markets & funding, and technology updates. Great read. 2) The World Resources Institute's State of Climate Action 2023 (https://lnkd.in/etHVnBXm). I really love the breakdown of GHG emissions by sector, the progress charts (i.e., right / wrong direction, on / off track), and the sector deep dives.

I have so many questions about the best use of energy, resources and time to address the climate challenges we face. This post attempts to answer some of them in the framework of capital and venture. Interesting re-frame of the problems from Nat Bullard.

This underscores the crucial role of #EVs in our journey towards #sustainability and achieving the ambitious climate goals set worldwide encompassed in the Paris Agreement, which urges all participating parties to double down on energy efficiency improvements by 2030. I believe that much of the damage we have done to the earth was allowed to happen because so many of us don't see ourselves as part of the living system that is life on this planet.
