Stats, stats, stats! 📊 As someone who's driven by goals, tracking progress is my jam! If there's a number to hit, you can bet I’m tracking it 😂. But what truly motivates me is knowing that as a recruiter, my numbers are more than just data—they represent lives being changed. 💥 I’m not here to just "put butts in seats." I’m here to find the right people so Medtronic can alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life for as many patients as possible. Since I specifically recruit for production roles at Affera, Inc., these are the people actually assembling and inspecting the devices that are used in heart surgeries. 🫀 So when I’m making hiring decisions, I know they can directly impact patient outcomes. That’s why it’s not about filling a seat as fast as possible—it’s about finding the best fit. Sometimes that involves a bit of "matchmaking." I’ll often phone screen candidates and realize the role they applied for isn’t quite right, but they’re a perfect fit for Medtronic’s mindset. That’s when I steer them toward other opportunities. Not every day feels like a home run. Some days, none of the candidates are a match. But today…today was a GOOD day! 🎉 ✅ 5 successful phone screens with qualified and engaged candidates, leading to: *3 interviews scheduled *1 candidate sent to the manager for a scheduling a panel interview *1 candidate guided to apply for another role ✅ Returned 1 candidate call ✅Drafted 4 offer letters and told those candidates offers were coming ✅3 candidates told me how much they loved their onsite interviews (with three different hiring managers!) and can't wait to start ✅ Oh, and 1 middle school parent-teacher conference for good measure. We saw clear development and growth from last year, and as a parent that makes me feel so proud ❤️ It was an A+ kind of day!
