Our response vehicle is vital in reaching emergencies fast, and now we’re looking for local businesses to sponsor our life-saving car for a month. In return, we’ll showcase your support on our vehicle and social media channels, getting your business seen across the region. Plus, we’ll visit your team for a fun and educational CPR and defibrillator demo, showing them how quick action can save lives! My involvement in Bonfire Season is over for the year, ranging from representing NHS Ambulance in multi agency control rooms to working privately as a Paramedic in the event grounds. Each event has seen large crowds, in some cases larger than historically seen, but with relatively few significant incidents. Unfortunately, what we have seen is continued reluctance to resource some events appropriately. A couple of ‘FAAW’ qualified people isn’t proportionate for thousands of people. A visible commitment to public safety will ensure your event continues to see crowds and growth for years to come. You’d be surprised how many people comment on the lack of visible medical/security/marshals. Event Organisers: Identify providers you can trust, seek feedback from others and reach a solid conclusion, then work with your provider and trust their expertise to make sure your events are safe.
