To my creators on Linkedin, I need some help/recommendations! One of my priorities for 2024 is to up content production game as it relates to daily Vlogs, Training for an Ironman, and Completing ultra distance races. I plan on buying either a DJI Osmo 2 or the Insta 360 X3 to capture the behind the scenes footage. This e-bike company just used Captain Cool's memes and made the most creative ad of 2024. MS Dhoni has made headlines and won over the internet yet again but this time it's for his singing skills in this fun ad for Motorod Ebikes amidst the ongoing IPL season. In this advertisement, MS Dhoni can be seen enjoying his ride on the e-bike while effortlessly pulling off his version of 'Bole Jo Koyal' by Falguni Pathak. Dhoni is accompanied by two CGI 'Koyals' during his e-bike ride and even the birds seem to be fans of Dhoni's choice of song and vehicle. The song 'Bole Jo Koyal' was used to troll the star cricketer in the past such that even today when MS Dhoni enters the field to bat, the DJ plays the song while the crowd cheers to his entry. The writers of the ad smartly used these trolls and memes to their advantage to craft the most creative ad. This marketing campaign for EMotorad is a masterstroke for several reasons: - By incorporating the trolling and memes the ad taps into the existing cultural conversation around the cricketer. - This creates a sense of familiarity and relatability and shows that the brand is aware of current trends and knows how to leverage them effectively. - The inclusion of CGI 'Koyals' and the playful interaction with birds adds a whimsical element to the ad and enhances its visual appeal. - The storytelling is engaging, capturing viewer's attention and keeping them entertained throughout.
