*TAX AUDIT - AY 2024-25* Mandatory reporting in Tax Audit applicable from AY 2024-25 onwards in respect of delay in payment to Micro and Small Enterprises. Clause 22 of Form 3CD has been amended. Pre-amended clause 22 required reporting of only interest on delayed payments to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) under Section 16 of the MSMED Act, which is inadmissible under Section 23 of the MSMED Act. Amended Clause 22 requires the tax auditor to also report the amounts disallowable under Section 43B(h) on account of delay in payment to MSEs. In case of outstanding payments are not made within the prescribed time limit, which cannot exceed 45 days, then all the outstanding payments to MSEs exceeding the prescribed time limit as on 31.03.2024 will be disallowed under Section 43B(h). Earlier today Belgium announced an extension of the deadline to file the Pillar Two notification to 16 September. Importantly, the extension is available to MNE Groups that are not required to make estimated payments for Belgium global minimum tax. The extension is welcome news for many companies that do not expect to incur top-up tax in Belgium. #eytax #beps #pillartwo
