There are over 3,000 unreached people groups in the world. The Missionary Adoption Program (MAP) connects Texas Baptists churches with churches, associations and conventions in countries all over the world to jointly adopt local missionaries native to those countries so they can reach the world with the gospel. Global connectivity and ease of world travel have caused many nations to take stock and learn how to benefit from extended-stay residents. This provides an opportunity that God’s people should consider. Historically, most missionaries serving overseas have gained entrance to foreign countries through missionary, student, tourist, NGO (non-government organization), or business visas. Newly emerging residence categories may provide additional options for short-term and long-term missionaries. Perhaps more importantly, these new visa options open more doors for globally-minded Christians. By “globally-minded Christians,” I simply mean those Christians who are not afraid to live cross-culturally and want to serve and help the cause of Christ in unreached places. While these believers are not pastors or vocational missionaries, they can provide needed spiritual and practical support for churches through their presence and involvement. Did you know there are millions of individuals living in unreached people groups? That 1/3 of the world lacks access to the gospel? Some of these unreached peoples will never experience the good news due to the difficult access or political barriers of their nation. Let’s continue to pray for the millions of unreached, and do everything we can to breakthrough these barriers. 🌍 🙏 To learn more, watch this video from Mission Global 👇 https://lnkd.in/gRvbpqAW #GlobalWorks #MissionGlobal #UnreachedPeopleGroups

One of my favorite projects of 2024! Getting to watch “the Farm” go from a concept to reality has been an incredible process. DM me if you’re curious about how we developed our sustainer program. 🌾 What is it? The Farm is a way for individuals to directly bring about positive change in our world by sending and caring for missionaries on the frontlines of the Great Commission. Link for how you can plug in yourself 🔗 #SustainerPrograms #MonthlyGiving #Subscription #Development
🌾 Missionary laborers must be trained in the same way a field must be cultivated – with care and time. It’s our responsibility as a missions organization to help prepare missionaries for the challenges they will undoubtedly face. Missionaries develop resilience in well-supported communities. When you join the Farm, you enable our home office staff to be that community that empowers our missionaries to thrive! ➡️ https://lnkd.in/ghVYAa-a

To reach grassroots people . All communities in our nation and Africa at large, we need passionate leaders/members. For now is our time. Africa is the richest continent in the world, BUT look poor… It has all kinds of natural resources….. The Brainwashing of most African is intense that many didn’t know when they were taught to despise our own people…The total Black race is economically enslaved.. It is time to free ourselves… Remember we are not a political party nor a religious foundation but as humans, we are political animals with political ideology . As we War Against: 1. Unemployment. 2. Poverty. 3. Inequality. 4. illiteracy. As grassroots members, Our target this year 100Million Members.. Think Deep because Passion is the fuel to your power! Together we can. God Bless Africa and Her Citizens! Website: https://lnkd.in/g5W54uZ Website: www.panafricachamber.org

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡! 𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡: Sunday dinners are paramount to most African-Americans because it affords an opportunity to gather and stay connected, nothing more, nothing less. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡: It's no secret that Sunday dinners hold a special place in the hearts and souls of African-Americans, providing an opportunity for families to gather, sup in abundance, chop it up, and stay connected. However, it's much bigger than that. It's safe to say that Sunday dinners are an aged-old tradition, somewhat like a ritual, dating back to the days of chattel slavery. Note, enslaved Africans (our ancestors) saw food as more than sustenance, as it had always been before; because Sunday arose as the sole day of the week where they could dress up in their Sunday best, worship, break bread with their brethren, and pretend they were free. *So when African-Americans say they don't do anything (meetings, zoom calls, etc.) outside of #WORSHIP, #FAMILY, and #REST on Sundays, respect their position, even if you can't relate on a personal level. #HappySunday #Sunday #Myth #Truth #Facts #Africans #AfricanCulture #Culture #History #Us #Business #Businesses #BlackBiz #BlackBusiness #SundayDinner #SoulFood #FoodForTheSoul #Food #FootprintsInAfrica #Footprints #GoingTheDistance #JourneyWithMe #Africa #Advocacy #Nonprofit
