Want to be a successful D2C company with less efforts ? Build something that fulfills aspirational needs of Tier-II & Tier-III cities. These are the places where per capita is rapidly increasing. These are the #consumers that now want aspirational products, which untill now they were seeing only rich people could afford it. These can be anything- value for money #cosmetics, #apparels, #Consumables, absolutely anything. Success of Meesho is a big example of this. Amazon India alone claims, a product portfolio about 120million and a seller base about 1.4 million. The thing is they do not stop there. As an incentive to purchase those products, amazon prime service is available where apart from free service, entertainment is streamed. Again, as an incentive to purchase more, amazon pay is available where additional rewards are offered.
