#EthicalReminders What many confuse has the verifiable difference. Most everyone has the natural ability to Speak freely, but the Freedom of Speech carries a stipulation that many ignore - the Truth. The Freedom to Speak vs. the Freedom of Speech. Anyone can speak Lies, but Speech Mandates the Truth. If it's not the Truth, do not call it Speech. Dehumanizing language can take on more subtle and insidious forms, where the rhetoric is cloaked in seemingly benevolent or even noble-sounding language, but still serves to strip the targeted group of their humanity and dignity. The concepts of "manifest destiny" and the "white man's burden" are prime examples of this more nuanced and Machiavellian application of dehumanization.

In a world where laws are constructed through a litigious process to strategize and weaponize political belief systems, rather than being guided by the collective good, we find our unity challenged.
