Wednesday night I listened to 🎺 Rory Sadler, Co-Founder & CEO of trumpet, mediate a discussion between some of the top sales leads in EMEA. (I may be a little biased because Nat is my manager) Natalie Johnson, CRO of AutogenAI, asks "How would you deal with not having a BDR to support you?" Can they build their own pipeline? Are they afraid to pick up the phone? Are they obsessed with planning and self-development? Marina Ayton, Sales VP UK&I for Wiz, said that when looking for the top 5% of AE's, the things to look for are: Intelligence, Character, Track Record. Rob Massa, CRO of Juro, said that in addition to these, he also looks for entrepreneurial spirit. This reaffirmed the key things that I look for when hiring: 1. Intelligence 2.
