It’s World Curlew Day!!! Gotta give these wonderful birds the platform they deserve. These guys like many other species need protecting and we are the only way that’s going to happen. Imagine a coastline or farmland without that incredible sound and life. Did you know (extract from Curlew Action): The Eurasian Curlew, Numenius arquata, was once a common sight across Ireland and the UK and their distinctive calls could be heard along coasts and across farmland, in the lowlands and uplands. Today, widespread changes to our countryside have seen their numbers dramatically decline, especially over the last 40 years. In Southern Ireland curlews have decreased by over 90%, in Wales by over 80% and on average we have lost 60% throughout England and Scotland since the 1980s. All this is happening as society is becoming ever more detached from the natural world, we are less connected to nature than at any other time in history. This has to change. #worldcurlewday #curlew #wadingbirds #birdphotography #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #wildlifeconservation #wildlifeplanet

Spent a serene afternoon on the river in AECS Layout with my good friend Shrunga, and the experience was truly rejuvenating. The calm currents, warm sunlight, and soothing breeze created the perfect backdrop as we explored the diverse fish inhabiting these waters. From deep sea techniques to jigging and trolling, we encountered one thrilling catch after another - the sheer excitement on Shrunga's face as he fought to reel them in was priceless. The rich variety of vibrant, scale-patterned fish we encountered is a true testament to the ecological richness of this river system. Each species, with its distinct features, represents the magic that lies beneath the surface. Though the specific catches elude me, the photographs we captured will be lasting mementos of a truly remarkable day. There's something special about river fishing that fills the soul. The gentle rhythm of the water, the camaraderie of a fellow angler, and the sense of discovery around every cast - it's an experience that can't be replicated. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the river, I felt a profound sense of fulfillment. If you ever have the chance to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of a river fishing trip, I highly recommend it. The memories will stay with you long after the last cast. #FishingGuide #FishingExpertise #RiverFishingProfessional #FishingIndustry #OutdoorRecreationBusiness #NatureExperience #FishingTechniques #FishingInnovation #LocalCommunityEngagement #FishingEnthusiasts #FishingMarketing #FishingEntrepreneur
