My heart aches as I share this: the construction industry's suicide rate is nearly four times higher than the general population. This isn't just a statistic—it's a cry for help from our colleagues, friends, and family. I've witnessed the "tough guy" culture's silence struggles for years. But strength isn't about hiding pain—it's about having the courage to reach out. To every construction worker feeling overwhelmed: you're not alone. Your life matters. Let's break this silence together. To industry leaders: we must create spaces where mental health conversations are normalized. It could save a life. Remember, seeking help isn't weak—it's the bravest thing you can do. https://nbcnews.to/3VY9VcL #MentalHealth #ConstructionIndustry #BreakTheStigma #artba #nuca #ftba #dynapac #nationalasphaltpavementassociation #johndeere #ciasp #afsp #constructionangels

💪 We're building resilience and taking on National Mental Health Month in construction! As we dive into May and Mental Health Awareness Month, we focus in on a crucial aspect of our industry: the safety and mental well-being of our workers. Construction isn't just about bricks and mortar; it's about the people who bring projects to life. Behind every hard hat is a person with their own challenges and triumphs - let's break the stigma and build the foundation for an industry that prioritizes mental health just like we do physical safety.
