🤝 Local partnerships are the lifeline of comprehensive care support. They create a network of resources that can address the multifaceted needs of individuals requiring care. 🏥 From my experience, when social care providers, local businesses, and community organizations collaborate, the quality and accessibility of care soar. This synergy ensures that care is not just a service but a community mission. 🌱 Take, for instance, a local clinic partnering with a food bank. Together, they can tackle not just medical issues but also nutritional deficiencies that may hinder a patient's recovery. This holistic approach is vital for comprehensive care. 👥 Encouraging comments and thoughts on this can spark a conversation on how we can strengthen our local care networks. What partnerships have you seen or been a part of that have made a difference in your community? #HealthcarePartnerships #CommunityCare #LocalSupport

Exciting news - #Congress has negotiated a funding #deal and it includes funding Community Health Centers! Now they need to pass it - by this Friday, March 8! If you contacted your congressperson to advocate for this health center #funding, thank you! If you haven't yet had a chance, please take time today - our Wednesday Health Center Day of Action - to reach out and get this funding across the finish line! Your US House Representative and Senators need to hear that this funding bill deserves their vote; you could even remind them how many of their constituents rely on #communityhealthcenters for care. For instance, last year Community Health Centers served 31.5 million patients in urban, suburban, rural, frontier, and island communities in every state and territory. This translates to 1 in 11 Americans across over 1,400 health centers at nearly 15,000 locations. I think we can all agree, these are not insignificant numbers. Will you be part of the final push and call your members of Congress today to let them know that thousands of their constituents depend on a #bipartisan, long-term funding for health centers? If so, check out the link here: https://lnkd.in/g5_z2ZJe #valuechcs #healthcenters #fqhcs

Good advice
You wouldn't design an oven without talking to a chef. You wouldn't design a dress without talking to a tailor. You wouldn't design a house without talking to a builder. So why are so many community health programs designed without talking to CHWs? We think if you care about quality services, you have to talk to those expected to deliver them. #proCHW https://lnkd.in/g-2hVmvb

True change in healthcare starts with understanding—and understanding requires proximity. 💡 What does that mean? According to Deliana Garcia, it’s about stepping into the spaces where underserved communities live, work, and seek care: Volunteering at a clinic or food pantry in the neighborhood. Partnering with organizations that support workers' rights and fair labor practices. Building real connections with patients to understand their challenges and realities. 🤝 When we get closer, we don’t just provide care—we build trust, foster understanding, and create meaningful solutions. 💬 How can healthcare professionals and advocates bring themselves closer to the communities they serve? Let’s discuss! #HealthcareEquity #ProximityInAction #CommunityCare #UnderstandingHealth
