MoLo Hubs Project’s Post

Meet & Match - a Great Step Towards the Amsterdam MoLo Hubs Pilot🚀 The City of Amsterdam hosts the pilot for integrating mobility hubs with hubs for service logistics. This means that spaces must be defined and car parking areas🅿️must be adapted in order to optimise its logistical use. At the end of June various providers of emission-free transport vehicles came together with potential users for a ‘Meet & Match’: Contractors from the construction industry, installation technology and other providers of equipment and technical services.🛠️ During the meeting the project leader Frank Ebbink also pointed out that there is still room in the pilot project for entrepreneurs who want to test alternative transport options in view of the introduction of the low emission zone.🌱 Susanne Balm from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences🎓presented a calculation model to the public in which variables such as journey time, time spent ⏱️searching for a parking space and costs for the hub/cargo bike💰could be entered. I'm really looking forward to the execution of this important & pioneering pilot. I am curious to see what experiences the participating craft businesses will make and what other cities can learn from Amsterdam being a frontrunner in this field! 👍
