⚠️ BE AWARE!!! Wolff Olins Hiring Scam!! To be clear, this is not a reflection on Wolff Olins Agency, one of the world’s most prestigious agencies (who by the way I would love to work for!). These scammers will make you go through the real interview process, send you an offer letter before process completion (red flag) and then pressure you to sign the contract within 24 hours. After some research, I noticed that many of the folks mentioned were not even on LinkedIn, and the response email was missing a “S“ from Olins. Hopefully this post will save other job seekers time and effort. Also to make sure as we all do to look at the emails very carefully. Tagging Wolff Olins so that the company is also aware of this.

❗It has come to our attention that some people are being approached through various non-official channels for jobs at ecoligo. This is criminal phishing activity and should not be engaged with. To know when you’re dealing with us, here is what our interview process looks like. 1️⃣ Our Interview process is always in multiple stages. 2️⃣ The process will include an exercise or case. 3️⃣ We do not hire for positions in the US. 4️⃣ All emails are sent from [at]ecoligo.com. 5️⃣ All open positions link through ecoligo[dot]jobs[dot]personio[dot]de. Furthermore, we will never ask for payment during this process, we do not recruit pro-actively and we do not hire for fully remote roles. We’ve recently been made aware of a recruitment-related scam targeting job seekers by impersonating Maple recruiters through fake job postings and fraudulent emails. Recruitment fraud, where scammers target individuals claiming to be recruiters from corporate brands, is increasingly common. We can confirm the fraudulent postings that we’ve been made aware of have been removed and we are continuing to monitor. At Maple, we are committed to a safe and secure recruitment process. Here are a few ways you can identify official Maple recruitment opportunities and communications: ✅ Open roles with Maple can be found through our careers website getmaple.ca/careers. Once you press “Apply for this job”, you’ll always be redirected to a page hosted on Lever,  which is our chosen recruitment software.  ✅ All Maple team members communicate with addresses ending in “@getmaple.ca”. ✅ Interviews with Maple are conducted exclusively on Google Meet or Zoom (not Skype or WhatsApp). ✅ Maple will never request payment, or any sensitive information, such as government identification as part of booking interviews. Background checks are conducted only during the final offer stage and are processed through our trusted third-party vendor, Certn. Unfortunately ecoligo is currently used by scammers promising remote jobs at ecoligo! Please be aware of the fraudsters and read below, how you can make sure you are actually dealing with us here at ecoligo, and not with the scammers!

Providing links to fake career pages: Be cautious of clicking links in unsolicited messages. Only access job postings through Intro's official website or trusted job boards. ⚠️ Recruitment Scam Alert: Beware of LaddersIndia.com Calls If you receive a call from a company claiming to be LaddersIndia.com, be extremely cautious. These scammers may have access to your professional profile and will ask you to confirm a few details, making the interaction seem legitimate. The caller will introduce themselves as a “process associate” and may offer to transfer you to a senior representative. They will then present a job opportunity, but there’s a catch: you’ll be asked to register on their website by paying a fee of ₹5,000 to ₹6,000. This is a scam. If you’re urgently looking for a job, you may be more vulnerable to their tactics. Remember: legitimate recruiters do not ask for money to secure job interviews or opportunities. Stay informed, verify the authenticity of any recruitment calls, and report suspicious activity. Protect yourself and your career from falling into their trap.

Employment scam impersonating Trinetix We recently learned of scammers impersonating Trinetix executives with job seekers. While it’s true that we’re hiring and expanding our teams, our talent & recruitment teams embrace a professional and human-centric approach to talent sourcing and communications. The below comparison shows the difference between scammers and our team. Scammers: ❌ Email from an address that doesn’t end in @trinetix.com ❌ Turn off their video during interviews ❌ Extend job offers via email ❌ Pressure candidates for fast responses to interview requests and job offers Trinetix recruiters and executives: ✅ Email from their @trinetix.com email address ✅ Leave their video on when conducting virtual interviews ✅ Extend job offer via video call and then follow up via email (that email, like all others, will always come from an @trinetix.com email address) ✅ Work with candidates to schedule an interview that works for their schedule and allow time to consider employment offers ✅ Never charge interview, equipment or related fees before, during, or after an interview If you’ve received a suspicious email using our brand name, don’t hesitate to contact us. Your safety matters. We also encourage you to share this post to spread awareness; we’re not the first company impersonated in this manner and we won’t be the last.

It has been brought to my attention that an individual has been using MY name to message people on text and through WhatsApp to offer them a job and/or remote or flexible roles. THIS IS NOT ME!! If you've received a message like this over the last couple of days, please report and block the user.   We have been dealing with an increased prevalence of recruitment fraud where people have been posing as Impact employees and falsely claiming to be associated with us. You can always reach out to us directly to confirm the legitimacy of any communications.
