By comparing three Genesis spray applications per season with four Genesis spray applications. 🌿 We discovered that the fourth spray, applied on May 4th, 2023, resulted in an 8.2% increase in the percentage of prime-coloured fruit when evaluated on June 28th, 2023. 📊 Check out the post image for more detailed insights into this trial. WILD STINGLESS BEE HONEY EXTRACTION, A UNIQUE TASTE FROM NATURAL FERMENTATION! This is the method we use to extract wild stingless bee honey. Previously, I shared a video showing how I extracted stingless bee honey using a vacuum tool. However, for this particular stingless bee species, Tetragonula laeviceps, the approach is different. In Indonesia, these bees are commonly known as Kelulut or Klanceng bees. They are often found nesting in unique places such as underground, inside bamboo stalks, house walls, or trees. Interestingly, this species tends to dominate and can even invade and take over Heterotrigona Itama colonies. The honey from Tetragonula laeviceps is stored in small, interconnected propolis sacs, making it challenging to use a vacuum without damaging the propolis structure. That’s why we employ a manual extraction method like this. The taste of their honey is truly distinctive, stronger with a sweet and sour sensation and a naturally fermented aroma reminiscent of tapai (fermented cassava or rice). The famous “Byadgi Dry Chilli” variety is grown in and around the city and its suburbs. This chilli variant has the highest colour value among chillies grown across India and stands at a whopping 270 ASTA. It is grown organically in abundance as the weather and soil are conducive to its growth properties.
